Types of Braces

Due to today’s advanced technology, people can choose from a wide assortment of orthodontic gear. Simply Smiles Orthodontics offers patients many different types of braces. Your individual needs and budget will dictate which braces are right for you.

Here are some of the options our office provides

Low-profile Metal Braces

Metal braces are the most popular option for children, who enjoy picking out different colors to go over the metal brackets. Our office offers the low-profile version which is higher quality, smaller, and more comfortable than the traditional version. They are made out of high-grade stainless steel.

Clear Ceramic Braces

The ceramic version is harder to see than its metal counterpart because it is made out of a transparent porcelain. The brackets get connected with white wires that blend in with your natural tooth color. Many adults and teenager prefer their aesthetic appeal.

Damon® clear Braces

This revolutionary technology uses tieless brackets and innovative archwires that work together moving your teeth quickly and comfortably. Many clients notice an improvement in their teeth and their facial structure. They are virtually impossible to see and are made from Polycrystalline Alumina (PCA) which is stain resistant.

Damon® Q Braces

These braces are made out of a high-grade stainless steel which is strong and durable. Because Damon® Q is smooth and round, they are much more comfortable than traditional metal braces. They also provide results much more quickly than other methods.
